Each year, a dear friend opens her home to her dance-loving friends. We share great food and either perform or just enjoy watching.
My love of dance is great — that’s why one of my upcoming novels is titled, “Flamenco & the Sitting Cat”! The style of Argentine tango that my husband I dance is called Tango Elegante, taught by these outstanding teachers.
Our friend’s daughter kindly shot this video of my honey and me…

This was a wonderful video to watch, Daal. You two almost look enchanted by the music <#
I have never learned any kind of ballroom dance. I can hold a rhythm but I am afraid Zumba is more my thing… Love to watch, though!

thanks much, Mario — the leader plays the most difficult role in our style of tango – indeed it’s elegante. In addition, this branch of Argentine Tango is called Tango Elegante — click on the link to our teachers & you’ll see as well as see how amazing they are 🙂

I’m strictly a spectator I’m afraid, although with ten minutes prior notice I might just summon up a waltz. The Argentine Tango is certainly a favourite, though, as is the Rumba, and – if it is well done – the Paso. You dance beautifully, by the way. Lovely film!
