Happiness Between Tails speaks to and from the heart. It connects lovers — of pets, authors, books — and of my still-unreleased novels, “Flamenco + the Sitting Cat” and “Tango + the Sitting Cat.” The stories are my love letters to all who fear they're too odd, too damaged, too old, too whatever to find happiness. My heart goes out to you, I still miss my dogs a lot, I out lived a lot of dogs. They make great companions and life so much better. Just keep your mind and heart on the awesome memories. That’s the best advice I have.
Thanks Daal. I needed to take some time off over the summer. A couple of family funerals: my mother and an aunt. A holiday in Sweden visiting my grandson. Among other things. Lovely to read your blog as always, although not so much when there’s sad news to share of course. Best wishes.
How can I like a post that tells of the loss of such a dear family member as your beloved Lola. All I can say is that I share your grief. You will meet Lola again one day when you cross that Rainbow Bridge.
