Happiness Between Tails speaks to and from the heart. It connects lovers — of pets, authors, books — and of my still-unreleased novels, “Flamenco + the Sitting Cat” and “Tango + the Sitting Cat.” The stories are my love letters to all who fear they're too odd, too damaged, too old, too whatever to find happiness. This was a great question! I can honestly say that I have never been told that I write like a man, probably because I am an extremely emotional person. I am very passionate about writing and started my blog last July for a few reason. I really wanted to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis, which I have lived with for almost 18 years, but I also wanted to encourage and inspire others. I have loved writing since I was a child and really wanted nothing more but to be a writer. I still want more than anything to write a book someday, but we will see how it plays out. Of course I have the freedom to write about anything I want with my blog, but I am now trying to find out how to get into freelance writing. Determination should have been my middle name! I am looking forward to reading more of your posts and hope it you have the time you will check my site out. I hope you have a nice evening and a great day tomorrow!!
Thank you so much! I am glad you found my site to be a good one! I would love to do a guest blog post on your site. I would just need to think of what to write about, so if you have any suggestions, I am pretty easy to get along with!
I’ve never been told I write like a man. When friends and colleagues read my writing, the common response is, “That was cute.” Cute? Are you kidding me? I hate cute! 🙂

Do you have any specific questions? Blogging has been exciting and sometimes challenging learning the ins and outs.

it was a teacher, when I was in high school — the most impressionable of times — I was not one to question authority…

All the “man” things are supposed to be taken as compliments and many of the “girl” things are insulting. ( ie. “you run like a girl”)

You should only take it as a compliment if you write like me (but who would want to stoop that low?).
