Call for Writers: Guest Blog Posts (with audio version)

My friends and I are eager to meet you!

Let my readers (about 10,000 across my socials) get to know you — and yours get to know Happiness Between Tails — by guest blog posting here. Given that I pay WordPress money monthly to not insert advertising, the benefit to both you and me is simply to expose more people to of our work.

Upon approval, I’ll publish your post within a several weeks (depending on how many guests are already awaiting ahead of you), share it to the rest of my social media, and then you can re-blog (or copy and paste) it to your own site and share it to the rest of your social media.

Step #1

• Check out examples: select “Guest Posts” into this site’s “Search Categories” drop-down menu.

Step #2

• Once you’d taken a look at posts by prior guests,  email me briefly about what you’d like to cover.

  • NO articles in AI, please.
  • NO images created by AI either, please, unless it’s your book cover.
• ALSO: NO articles that have already been published elsewhere.
• Topics are flexible, so long as they:
  1. embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion,
  2. are not religious,
  3. don’t advertise anything other than what you’ve personally written or made,
  4. and aren’t written by AI.

Step #3

Upon approval, email these…

• Language: English.
• Word length: around 600 words.
• Your spell-checked article emailed to ContactdAL at gmail dot com
• The guest blog post must either be attached to the email as a word document, or copied and pasted into it.
• NO PDF’s, please.
• Images (NO AI images, please, as specified above): A candid photo of yourself. Also, if you like, one to three original images in jpg form, such as a picture you drew yourself or the cover of a book you wrote. Images should measure at least 1,000 on their shortest side.
• A few lines about yourself: such as where you blog from, your background, etc.
• A link to your site (i.e., your website or most important social presence), if you’d like it included.

Step #4

Once published, here are ways to maximize the number of Happiness Between Tails readers who read your post and then visit your site:

• Reply to comments on your guest blog post at Happiness Between Tails.
• Share your guest blog post at Happiness Between Tails to all your own social media.
  • Hint: To publish it on your site, click “reblog,” near the share buttons at the bottom of your guest post at Happiness Between Tails. If your site doesn’t doesn’t accommodate a “reblog” feature, an alternate way to do it is to copy and paste it into a new post for your site, with a note that it first appeared at HappinessBetweenTails.com
• Once you publish it at your site, you can again re-share it from your site to the rest of your social media.
• Email me when you link it to your blog. As soon as you do, I’ll encourage your followers there.
