Happiness Between Tails speaks to and from the heart. It connects lovers — of pets, authors, books — and of my still-unreleased novels, “Flamenco + the Sitting Cat” and “Tango + the Sitting Cat.” The stories are my love letters to all who fear they're too odd, too damaged, too old, too whatever to find happiness. I have always been fascinated with Picasso. I have used many of his sketches as my computer wallpaper. He created paintings that described much of what I felt inside.

Yes – Guernica in particular is a masterpiece, but all of his art is interesting

I remember standing in front Guernica for hours in Reina Sofia. It is a powerful piece by Picasso.

Indeed – there’s so much going on, too, that one can easily spend that much time contemplating it.
