About this blog

Flamenco & the Sitting Cat proposed cover.
The working cover for my new adult literary novel.

After I finished writing “Flamenco & the Sitting Cat,” a general fiction novel for adults, I queried high and low for a literary agent and/or a publishing house. 80 queries later have confirmed what any author knows: finding either ain’t easy.

Fortunately, self-publishing gets easier all the time! Best of all, self-publishing doesn’t require agents and traditional publishers.

On the other hand, it does learning to promote one’s own books. This blog is my exploration into how best to let people sample my writing.

“Tango & the Sitting Cat,” the novel’s sequel, is being written!

  1. Sigh,
I have enjoyed your posts on FB. Now that I’m retired, I have time to read your blog. Sadly, I am not sure how to follow you. I’m trying the email check box below for starters. AND turmeric works so well for aging joints, both for 2 and 4 legged species. I am trying Cod liver oil next.

    • Hi Melinda! happy retirement 🙂

I just tried sending you a message on FB – but unfortunately FB locked up on me – FB is so buggy — will try again later

in meantime, if you check back &/or if anyone else is curious, at top of right hand column, there’s a ‘follow’ button
