It’s no coincidence that my soon-to-be self-published novels have to do with dance! Here are my husband and me practicing a step we just learned at the end of class (and here’s more and some more and more and a quick clip and the first time I posted a video of our dancing about the style of Argentine tango that we dance that’s taught by these outstanding teachers)…
Here’s a masterfully fun tango clip of “Lost in Paris,” a marvelous film I recently discovered by French film burlesque style due Canadian Fiona Gordon and Belgian Dominique Abel…
And another from the same movie — that’s choreographed by them (and danced?)…
What’s your favorite dance film?…
What is the video that I most liked….. well even though that you look gorgeous and very sexy dancing the tango I really have to go with the last one of the old people that had me smiling.
Beautiful music I have to say.
Did you already published your novel?

Ah dear da-Al, you brought up such wonderful memories of my youth! I used to be in ballroom dancing competitions, and tango was one of my favorites, along with paso doble. You’re quite an accomplished dancer, darling, together with your handsome husband, and you are executing this move very gracefully – a pleasure to watch! The same move in the movie is hilarious, the way she looks at her own leg and can’t figure out how it got there.
My favorite movie tango is the one from The Scent of a Woman (I incorporated it into a post), And, of course, the inimitable Russian couple on ice who inspired the Olympic committee to make tango mandatory https://youtu.be/ufIhguIiPh8

You and your husband’s dance is enthralling and intricate … I can sense the concentration … and the chemistry between you both! Lost in Paris video is a delight and lifted my spirits so much! Just lovely and thank you so much for sharing. My favourite dance movies all seem to be from when I was young … Flashdance, Fame, Dirty Dancing,Footloose and more recently the brilliant Billy Elliot!

This made me want to return to San Telmo markets and watch the Tango live again…

Hi, I wrote a little post on BA but not too many photos as it was one of my earlier posts.
I seem to go crazy on photos in my post these days. Let me know what you think https://imageearthtravel.com/2017/07/05/a-taste-of-buenos-aires-argentina/

You guys are smouldering! I have a relative who does salsa dancing with her husband–I really admire couples who do things they love together–for Ken and me, it isn’t dance but building things–still the same sense of togetherness!

yes – it’s wonderful to have something to do together, something that offers a bit of an alternative form of communication, something besides everyday language that is so imperfect…

Must admit I can’t think of a favourite dance film, but I love your clip – you look beautiful and so move so elegantly (I’m more like a bull in a china shop when I move) 🙂

Thank you for sharing!… you and your husband are wonderful together and no doubt the envy of many!… my favorite “song” is The Blue Danube… 🙂 “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” Plato
This would be my favorite dancing film;
