I like this place a lot. Although I do not visit the place often but every time I was there I was already found new things. I am not sure they still are doing this or not, I used to watch opera rehearsal session during a weekend afternoon at their amphitheater. You just go and sit down and watch their practicing.
It’s Dan Zeorlin (of MLBerg’s Caregiver Manuals for Men). We exchanged information several years ago. Anyway I attempted to secure funding for enabling my continuation of the work (advocating for the support of male caregivers) but have not found it to date. Coincidentally I am now unemployed and looking for a bottler position in an olive factory or for an industry where I can fill a “silverware-stacker” role. I’m an engineer but when I can’t pursue my passion for empowering caregivers I still need to focus on earning a living.
Why am I writing this to you? It is because you struck me as an advocate for women’s rights and (believe it or not) I feel that “support for men becoming better caregivers” is a right that every woman deserves. So lets pick your brain (or not) to identify opportunities to serve both.

A lovely post and thank you for sharing some of the many masterpieces of the museum. It is easy to get museum fatigue and a great idea to return over the course of a few days! The Kiss is immediately striking and I loved the paintings and the Tippity Toe statue. I recently visited the Gainsborough Museum which is where he lived in a local town nearby … the atmosphere alone is amazing and so special to see his artwork in this old house!
I’m not sure if it can be the same one (surely not, unless it really was shipped here in the UK) but we had the ‘The Kiss’ sculpture in our local (large town, not a big city) museum the other year for a few weeks.
Lots of fascinating things, I love museums and art with such variety 🙂

I am a huge museum-lover, and yet don’t go as often as I’d like. But my favorites are the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. But I also love the Legion of Honor museum in San Francisco and the …. well, I could go on and on. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (and the art museum in Philadelphia) caught my attention in my youth and my love of art grew from there. I enjoyed the photos of the art work in North Caroline you show here. Thank you! I’ve never spent time in North Carolina, but would like to. My favorite here? Probably Madame X. 🙂

indeed it’s more than a little possible – Rodin would allow multiples to be made from his casts 🙂
