Yeah! My friend, artist Connie DK Lane, is having another show (here’s an installation she did to honor lives lost to COVID-19 here, this was an earlier show — and this is another I performed in). Please join us. Below are her official info and description…
“Connie DK Lane’s work is born of her emigration from Hong Kong and evolved from contemplations on belonging, memory, and being. By combining aspects of lived experience and creative imagination, Lane’s art beckons viewers to meditate on their own complexities. Artist reception March 23, 2 to 5 p.m. with a performance at 3 p.m. The show runs through April 29.”
What’s the last art show you attended?…
Wonderful pictures and thank you for sharing a part of your world!… 🙂
“Life gives us brief moments with another, but sometimes in those brief moments we get memories that last a lifetime, So live that your memories will be part of your happiness.”

Cool! A living statue. I like anything involving maps, so you friend’s work looks intriguing to me. The last art show for me, had seven of Monet’s paintings of Waterloo Bridge. So “traditional” in our time, I guess, but revolutionary in its own time, worth studying and appreciating, and a lot of the info about his painting technique, etc. was all new to me.

How cool is that! To be in an art installation of which few people are actually able to do.

Again, I say, what a wonderful opportunity to be able to do so. To become a living work of art. 🙂

Wow! Sounds like it will be a great experience. With all your dance background, you know how to hold your body and become the art. I hope you have a wonderful time, Daal,

In November while in London I went to an exhibition of nature photographers at the Natural History Museum. It was amazing. They have thousands of photos sent in for judging and only display the top two in each category.
