Feeling any of these, now that we’re officially launched into the holidays?
The Antidote: giving. Simple as it is easy to complicate.
Help exists! And its free and easy and volunteers are welcome!
Google ‘food rescue.’ Many organizations exist that will gladly pick unwanted fruit from backyard trees, glean surpluses from homes and businesses, and then deliver the rescued leftovers to those in need.
If you prefer to do it on your own, as well as if you have more than food to give, check out food pantries, senior centers, used goods stores, religious places, and places that take care of kids. My fave is FoodFinders

Yes, may no food go wasted!

That’s a good idea. The waste of perfectly good food is a terrible thing.

In France there is already a law that supermarkets may no longer throw away vegetables and foods. I forgot what they have to do with it…
Anyway, great initiative to remind us of this dear Daal! XxX

In some countries, when people find bread in particular on sidewalk, they set it to the side rather than throw it in trash 🙂

Wow what a Good Society to have this Food Finders Campaign.
Its so true that some people just “waste food”, instead of going out and giving it to someone, who Desperately needs it.
See my poem – SHARE AND CARE.

SHARE AND CARE is indeed a wonderful poem 🙂
We can be so busy with accumulating that we can fortunate what a gift it is to be able to give.

I wish this was the case every where – too much food wasting away as those who are starving…………
