Today is my third day of a 30-day personal challenge to post daily for a month. Here’s a little video of my honey and me working to get a new dance step just right. We’re students of the Tango Elegante style of Argentine Tango.
I think the dancing with your husband are amazing videos!

I liked this video much better because you had more elan to glide sideways and to quickly change direction. However you must learn “la quebrada” which means “the broken one”in Spanish. It’s when the lady suddenly drops down and is held by her partner so she doesn’t touch the floor. Then she readies herself and they both resumes the dancing in another direction, usually faster. Ss you can guess I was born and raised in the River Plate region; my grandfather Ricardo taught me how to appreciate this superb dance and singing.

Looking good dear Daal ! The Tango was one of my favorites during dance class. I would love to learn the Argentine version some day 🙂

Thank you for always being so kind, Patty! It’s a lovely dance – perfect for couples as it offers a non-verbal way to communicate. Words can be so clumsy sometimes.

Cool dance moves! Day three already and I’ve missed the previous two! I don’t guarantee to keep up, but I’ll pop over when I can. I wish you success with achieving your goal.
